Our Mission
The AI tools market is flooded with hundreds of products, each claiming to be the best. Most review sites are paid by the companies they review. We're not. ToolPeak exists to give you an honest, independent view of what actually works.
Every tool we review is purchased with our own money, tested against real-world tasks, and scored on a consistent rubric — so you can compare tools across categories fairly.
We run real tasks, real workflows, and real use cases — not just feature lists.
No company has ever paid us to write a review. Our scores belong to no one but us.
Every tool is scored on the same five criteria so comparisons are always fair.
How We Review
Each review follows the same process: we sign up for the tool (paying our own subscription), use it daily for at least one to two weeks across multiple use cases, then score it across five criteria:
- Features — what the tool can do vs what it promises
- Ease of use — how fast you can get productive
- Value — is the pricing fair for what you get?
- Reliability — uptime, accuracy, consistency
- Support — documentation and help quality
Scores are averaged to produce the final ToolPeak score out of 10.
Who We Are
ToolPeak is run by a small team of writers, developers, and product people who use AI tools every day in our own work. We started the site because we were tired of review content that was clearly written by people who had never actually used the products.
